Brandon Bracko serves as Vice President of Sales and Operations at Firefly Solar, where he has been since the company's inception. With six years in the solar and renewable energy industry, Brandon oversees day-to-day sales and operational performance across Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and beyond. He studied psychology at St. Mary's and business marketing at SAIT, bringing a deep understanding of customer behaviour to residential solar. Brandon is driven by the belief that solar helps homeowners save money on a product everyone needs, allowing them to spend more on what matters.

Chelsea Lefurgey

Vice President of Retail Sales

Chelsea Lefurgey is the head of retail sales at Firefly Solar, where she builds the teams, systems, and processes that turn homeowner interest into action. With a background spanning real estate, hospitality, and three years in solar — and having studied Business Marketing at NAIT — she brings a rare combination of industry depth and people instinct to everything she leads. Chelsea is the person behind Firefly's growing presence in Home Depot locations across Canada.

Timothy L. Veldman

Vice President of Sales

Timothy Veldman is a recognized sales leader across Canada, known for building high-performance sales organizations across multiple industries. With nearly a decade of experience in sales and leadership, he has been with Firefly Solar since its early stages and played a key role in the company's growth. Timothy now leads national sales strategy, systems, and leadership development at Firefly Solar, overseeing the company's sales program coast to coast and driving expansion into new markets.

Alistair Shipley

VP of Technology

Alistair Shipley is a technology and operations leader at Firefly Solar, overseeing the systems and innovation behind one of Canada's fastest-growing residential solar companies. With a background in business innovation and entrepreneurship from Mount Royal University, he brings a strong blend of technical strategy and practical execution. Prior to Firefly Solar, Alistair worked with high-growth startups across Canada and the United States. He focuses on building the tools and processes that deliver a seamless, transparent experience for homeowners across the country.

Paul Gill

Product Manager

Paul Gill serves as Product Manager at Firefly Solar, leading the development of in-house software and system processes that power the company's operations across Canada. A Professional Member of APEGA and Certified Product Owner with an Electrical Engineering degree, Paul brings six years of solar industry experience. He has facilitated the process for over 2,000 residential installations and worked on the Telus Spark solar carport, one of Calgary's most visible commercial solar projects.

Robert Schmidt

Lead Software Developer

Robert Schmidt is an award-winning LLM and NLP researcher with years of research connected to Athabasca University. He serves as Lead Software Developer at Firefly Solar and will soon lead the company's new AI-focused R&D division, bringing together applied research, automation, and intelligent systems to support innovation and growth across Firefly Solar's national operations.

Sharia Rahman

IT Analyst

Sharia Rahman serves as IT Analyst at Firefly Solar, deploying, maintaining, and monitoring the computer systems, network infrastructure, and security platforms that keep every department running smoothly. She holds Cybersecurity and IT Professional Certificates from Microsoft and Google, along with CompTIA A+ Network certification and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Windsor. Sharia is known on the team for developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Mohammed Misbahuddin (Misbah)

Head of Marketing & Creative

Mohammed Misbahuddin leads marketing and creative at Firefly Solar, driving the company's brand strategy, digital presence, and customer acquisition across Canada. With deep experience in video production, professional photography, content strategy, web design, and branding, Misbah builds the systems and campaigns that position Firefly Solar as the most visible and trusted solar company in the country. He oversees SEO, GEO, and AEO strategy, content marketing, and performance marketing across residential, commercial, builder, Indigenous, and agricultural sectors nationwide.

Scheduling Manager

Allison Scott manages installation scheduling across Firefly Solar's national operations, coordinating solar installations, post-installation inspections, and utility commissioning for customers across Canada. With a background in operations management, she ensures every project moves from installation through to final permission to operate on schedule. Allison holds a Bachelor of History from Mount Royal University and is known across the team for her ability to answer any question about the process.

Devin Jones-Dunlop

Install Manager

Devin Jones-Dunlop serves as Install Manager at Firefly Solar, managing installation teams across Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, and Halifax. A Journeyman Electrician and SAIT graduate with five years in the solar industry, Devin has personally completed 300 to 400 residential and ground mount installations and supervised over 1,000 more. His expertise spans electrical systems, project management, customer communication, and Canadian electrical code compliance across multiple municipal jurisdictions.

Max Murtha

Lead Site Surveyor

Max Murtha serves as Lead Site Surveyor at Firefly Solar, where he has been since before the company had its name. With four years in the solar industry, Max built Firefly Solar's entire nationwide site survey department and process, which has supported every residential installation the company has completed. Based out of Firefly Solar's Edmonton office, he trains and manages the site survey team, specializing in orthomosaic photogrammetry and drone-based property assessments. Outside of work, Max volunteers with Capital City Clean Up to help maintain Edmonton's river valley.

Mechelle Rose-Rhodes

Cancellation & Retention Manager

Mechelle Rose oversees cancellation and retention files at Firefly Solar, managing complaint-sensitive situations and supporting the internal processes that keep customer files moving properly. With a background in manufacturing, data management, and insurance, she brings structure and clarity to complex situations involving contract handling, financing questions, and cross-departmental coordination. Mechelle is known for stepping into difficult files where communication has broken down and guiding them toward fair, professional resolution.

Yared Fantaye

Compliance & QC Country Manager

Yared Fantaye leads compliance and quality control across all of Firefly Solar's national operations, ensuring every installation meets the company's standards and complies with Canadian electrical codes and safety requirements. A Master Electrician licensed in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick, Yared brings seven years of solar industry experience and has been involved with over 2,000 installations spanning residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial projects, including a 21 MW solar project in East Africa.

Ari Gordon

Engineering Manager

Ari Gordon leads Firefly Solar's engineering and design teams, ensuring every solar system is delivered on time, meets strict quality standards, and aligns with best engineering practices. A registered Engineer-in-Training with APEGA, Ari holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and has over eight years of solar industry experience. He has been personally involved with over 170 residential and 15 commercial solar installations, including the 1.4 MW Ply Gem Canada rooftop project.

Burak Naci Tuz

Director of Project Development

Burak Naci Tuz serves as Director of Project Development at Firefly Solar, managing solar projects from feasibility through to completion across the company's residential, commercial, home builder, Indigenous, and agricultural portfolios. He holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering from Kingston University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, along with both EIT and PMP designations. Burak's combination of renewable energy science, chemical engineering, and certified project management expertise allows him to oversee timelines, coordinate with engineering and installation teams, and ensure every project delivers on its technical and financial promise.

Dante Taylor

Lead Design Engineer

Dante Taylor serves as Lead Design Engineer at Firefly Solar, designing solar energy systems across residential, commercial, ground mount, battery storage, EV charging, and custom applications. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Lassonde School of Engineering along with a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship, and is an EIT with APEGA. Dante is a Tesla and EPCube certified installer who actively mentors youth in engineering and sciences through APEGA Science Olympics and K-12 tutoring.

Nicole Wunderler

Treasurer and Head of HR

Nicole Wunderler leads Human Resources and serves as Company Treasurer at Firefly Solar, managing payroll, recruiting, and employee operations while supporting financial oversight across the organization. After several years in payroll, she transitioned into HR, bringing a strong focus on compliance, structure, and efficiency. Nicole is instrumental in creating clear processes that support a high-performing, collaborative workplace as Firefly Solar scales across Canada.

Afra Gordon

Office Manager

Afra Gordon serves as Office Manager at Firefly Solar, managing sales administration, auditing sales processes, coordinating teams, and overseeing quality control and customer service operations. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and brings experience as an Operations Manager at TDL Group. Afra is known for her collaborative communication style and her expertise in the customer journey from initial contact through project completion.

Mya Vikic

Head of Accounting

Mya Vikic serves as the Accounting and Finance Lead at Firefly Solar, overseeing financial operations, reporting, and the flow of funds across the company. She implemented the company's accounting system, creating the structure that supports accurate reporting and scalable growth. Mya leads full-cycle accounting, including quarterly closings and financial adjustments, while partnering closely with the finance team to ensure consistency across all financial activities.

Matthew Westman

National Director of Home Builder Partnerships

Matthew Westman leads Firefly Solar's home builder partnerships across Canada, creating pathways for solar integration in new residential construction. With deep roots in the homebuilding industry through his family's legacy at Jayman Built, Matthew brings a practical construction lens to solar adoption. He has helped facilitate 400 to 800 solar opportunities through partnerships with Jayman, Cantiro, and Owl's Nest, and is focused on making solar a standard part of the future of homebuilding in Canada.

Serena Pawluk

Indigenous Business Development Liaison

Serena Pawluk serves as Firefly Solar's Indigenous Business Development Liaison, building relationships with First Nations and Metis communities across every province where Firefly operates. She holds an Event Management certification from Mount Royal College and is a member of BCEDA, CCIB, Alberta Metis Works, and ICBA. Serena brings a natural ability to connect with communities and is passionate about using solar energy to generate wealth and self-sufficiency for Indigenous households across Canada.
